How to relieve stress and anxiety?

I’m a 22 year old male. I am currently not in school nor do I work. I am in a constant routine and I don’t like it. Things haven’t been that great lately and I feel like I may have a lot of stress. I’ve been having bad anxiety like a couple of my friends do as well. How can I relieve this? What can I start doing?

    Slow your thought process down. Use alcohol in MODERATION, avoid caffeine as it attacks the central nervous system and same with nicotine. Your only 22 take it easy things will smooth out. Worrying is useless and a waste of valuable energy and it will solve nothing. Start doing some healthy activities that you have done in the past. Only you can control your stress level. You will be fine. Before I forget try and get some adequate sleep. That too will help.

    yikes! in a rut! try gettin good rest! eat healthy! and exercise! try mixing up your routine! have you thought about taking some educational class? even iif it’s CPR or somethin like that…cuz lots of time mental stimulation is good for ya…how about some yoga or meditation??
    how about join some team? softball league or bowling? somethin like that…how about findin a job? even just a lame part time temporary job…just to get you out of the house and out with some people in the world…instead of staring at your 4 walls all day from the couch in front of the tv….
    ever thought about volunteering?? you could volunteer just about anywhere? i was a volunteer for NEADS before i became ill…NEADS is a national non profit that raises and trains dogs to help handicapped people and i was especially interested in this to help veterans of the iraq and afghanistan conflicts…check them out at
    i found that exercise, real vigorous exercise was all i needed everyday to relieve the stress…and figuring out what is causing you to feel anxious and stressed is a good idea…i mean honestly find the root of it…then you can address it and deal with it and your stress will naturally be relieved…i do so hope you can find the tranquility and peace you are searching for in your daily life…

    Take balanced diet. Exercise daily. Don’t take anti depressants they will make you dependent of them.
