How long does stress/anxiety prolong a period?
February 12th, 2009 | by Michael |Cat asked:
I asked a question a few days ago about my boyfriend touching the head of his ***** on me “down there” without a condom, but never going inside or previously “getting off” before he did this. Everyone reassured me I can’t become pregnant, but I’m still scared I am and I still haven’t recieved my period (I get it around this time). So how long will my period be pushed off due to my extreme anxiety of becoming pregnant?

If the head of the ***** just touched your skin, not even going inside, I don’t think you can become pregnant. As for stressing out, it can cause your period to delay.. 2 wks or even skip a month. If you begin to miss your period, try the stick, or go to the doctor’s if you’re concerned.

If your late, just treat your body like it may just be pregnant and go to see a doc it your more than 2wks late.
Next, there is a possibility of ‘pre-juice’ already at the head just from being very excited (i know form experience).
Depending on how much stress your under you could be late for months.(for ex: when a woman goes into the military boot camp some women don’t get their period the whole couple months and some athletes just don’t get it ever.
Whatever the situation try and relax, deep breathing may sound silly but do it a couple times and you’ll probably feel better and get your body to stop feeling stressed. Good luck and God bless you.

You can stress so much that you skip your period. This has happened to me, I was three weeks late for my period because I was so stressed about taking a test that was required to receive my teaching license. I got my period on the day of the test, right after I had finished taking the test. If you want, go ahead and go buy a test, chances are after you see it is negative you will stop stressing and your period will come the day you take it or the day after.
